Blue’s family has endured unimaginable heartbreak, including the devastating loss of a child. Their world has been filled with grief and stress, and while they love Blue deeply, they’ve realized they can’t give him the stability and peace he deserves.

Blue is a sweet, playful, dog-friendly boy who is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He loves to run and play, and he shines when he’s around people who can give him reassurance and a calm environment. Because he’s so sensitive, he picks up on his family’s emotions, and it’s been tough for him to adjust.

We stepped in to help—because that’s what rescues do. Blue will be moving into a foster home in Steamboat Springs, CO, where he’ll have the chance to settle and show his true self.

Blue does have a sensitive stomach and foods may need to be adjusted to care for that.

Would do best with quieter, older children (7+)

4. If everything has passed, we will then have you work with the foster parent of the dog(s) you are interested in adopting.

5. The adoption contract must be received along with the adoption fee for the dog before a transport will be arranged.
